Peculiar IPA
5.1% India Pale Ale
Weird BUT Gorgeous. Looks like a dark Red Malty Ale with a thick foamy head that remains at least half way down.... But it has the Drinkability of a Smooth IPA.. Bold Hops which DO blend smoothly with a Nice gentle Malty Background! Definitely NOT a standard IPA but don't hold that against it like some people are doing.

Tastes more like a Stout than an IPA?? Though that might be because im slightly drunk. A pleasant yet peculiar surprise nonetheless.

Can’t believe this gets so slated on other apps. It’s obviously a risk sticking an IPA label on it. Admittedly it’s nothing like any other IPA, either of old (no bitterness, relatively weak) or new (not particularly hop forward or fruity). It’s a Peculiar IPA! More like a best bitter it’s sweet and malty with a citrus hoppy twist, a very nice best bitter at that!

Veryyyy smooth indeed. Nothing too much flavour wise, but not awful. Lovely head on it.

Indeed a very peculier IPA, no tropical fruit hops, no bitter finish. Nothing about this says IPA to me! However it’s very nice indeed, it’s got that certain something like its Old Peculier cousin or an Innis & Gunn. Don’t know what it is, but I know I like it!!
