Produced since 1979, Tawny Bitter has become one of the most popular beers in the West Country.
Brewed using Devon pale and crystal malted barley and Herefordshire hops, Tawny is a distinctive well balanced best bitter with a subtle hop palate which blends with the sweetness of the malt.
Tawny has been a finalist in the Champion Beer of Britain Competition, and is a two-time Good Beer Guide "Beer of the Year".

Nutty and tastes stronger than it actually is. It's ok.

Now brewed by Butcombe brewery.
Decent drink. Nice malty aroma and taste with a nice subtle fruitiness mixed in. Slight hoppiness also. Subtle bitter finish but enjoyable. Smooth and easy drinking session ale

Gentle bitterness, slight caramel flavour. Low ABV but a good session beer.

A lovely brown ale, this is like the fudge you get when you're on holiday.
