Murphy's  Irish Stout Beim Blick auf die Dose…. ….stelle ich fest, daß dieses Stout für den litauischen, griechischen und japanischen Markt in Edinburgh produziert wird. So weit, so ungewöhnlich. Pechschwarz, wie das Guinness ist's nicht ganz und riecht nach gerösteten Malz und Schokolade. Die cremige Schaumkrone bleibt ewig 1cm breit auf dem Bier stehen. Schön. Geschmacklich ist etwas milder als der große Mitbewerber und bringt neben dem Röstmalz auch die Schokolade auf die Rezeptoren. Smooth und gering karbonisiert ist es und fließt geschmeidig die Kehle herunter bevor es röstig, malzig nachhallt. Gutes Stout.
