The unusually high content of finest Munich malt turns this dark version of wheat beer into an intensive taste experience: Light chocolate, cocoa and tropical fruit flavours impress first. Then wheat, malt and sparkling roast aroma.
Hefe-Weißbier Dunkel is a muscular beer. Unfiltered, strong and nutty. At the same time, smooth and soft to the taste. A great accompaniment for any meal. And it even convinces many true wine fans.
We invested devotion, time and many years of experience in this beer. This can be seen and tasted in every detail. This unfiltered Hefe-Weißbier Dunkel delights the eye with its shimmering reddish chestnut colour in the glass. Below the foaming, creamy head roasted malt aroma is combined with banana and caramel notes, followed by the interaction of ripe fruits. Thanks to its muscular structure, it goes perfectly with full-flavoured and richer dishes. True gourmets enjoy it with strong game dishes, mature cheese or Flammkuchen with onions and bacon. Hefe-Weißbier Dunkel is like a good wine, only better…

Hieman vetinen. Kotikaljamainen. Vehnää ja aavistus banaania.

Medium full, medium dry body. Nutty and faint dark chocolate. Just a hint of wheaty banana lingers around.
I liked the tones in this one, although I was a little disappointed how light this eventually was. If this were fuller, it would be an excellent beer, now reaches unfortunately only mediocrity.

Slightly hazy deep amber with good two-finger foam in the glass. Very malty aroma for the nose accompanied with the sweetish aroma of a wheat beer. Nice roasty notes on the taste, great maltiness in the body. Light coffee and a bit of sine fryity notes. Some sharp bitterness can be found after a few seconds, lingering for a good while.
