A classic Swindon beer; amber coloured with a pleasant, fruity and malty character. Has a distinct taste that can be best described as malty and slightly sweet with subtle caramel, biscuit and nutty notes from the malt, balanced by a delicate bitterness from Fuggles and Goldings hops and a lingering slightly sweet and dry finish.

A classic best bitter which has a copper amber appearance, the smell of fruity malts and a bittersweet nutty taste with lingering notes of fruit in the finish.

Quite watery. A bit of taste towards the end but nothing up front or on the finish.

Out down the pub this Sunday afternoon, and I always enjoy a pint of this Wiltshire brew. A copper coloured ale with a pleasant fruity and malty nose. It has a lingering bittersweet flavour of balanced Maris Otter malt and traditional Fuggles and Golding hops.
