Bitburger Drive 0.0% Premium Pils Alkoholfrei
0.0% Pilsner
The impressive taste is due to the unique way in which Bitburger Drive Alkoholfrei is produced. It is brewed in exactly the same way as the full strength Bitburger Pilsner beer, making it the best-tasting low alcohol beer on the market today. Only when the beer has matured completely is the alcohol removed using an extremely gentle process, so Bitburger Drive Alkoholfrei retains all the qualities of Bitburger Premium beer. This contrasts with some other alcohol-free beers, which are brewed by stopping the fermenting process.

Aika hyvä alkoholiton pils. Raikas ja oikeat humalatkin maistuu. Ei mikään nautiskelu olut, mutta ruokajuomana ihan o.k

Having a dry week as I’ve got my holiday coming up and I have to say this is a really nice zero beer. A delicately subtle and fresh tasting hoppiness. Almost tastes like the real thing.

Transparent gold is the color. Not very surprising. The carbonation is rather limited as it creates a normal one-finger head that melts soon to a thin cotton lacing on the top. Looks like a cloudy mattress from above. Remains alive astonishingly long. Malt cracker, bread and dry-grassy hops constitute the olfactory package. Pretty standard for a non-alcoholic Pils. The taste is pale malty with a grassy hoppy twist and a faint metallic tang. Something citrusy, like grapefruit peel, dominates the palate strongly. Very predictable, not rebarbative but not too inviting either. The body is light minus. The tail is fairly identical to the actual taste experience but the bitter metallic tang intensifies moderately towards the end. Loses quickly strength. The mouthfeel is light minus, refreshing, clean, marginally metallic and a tad tangy.
