A golden beer whose aroma is dominated by hops that give characteristic citrus notes. Hops and fruit on the palate are balanced by malt and a bitter base. Dry hoppy finish with soft fruit flavors. A nationally respected ale, winner of numerous awards, JHB is a blond baby packed with flavour & perfect for those long sessions as well as a quick pint at lunchtime. This popular beer was crowned Champion beer of britain in the bitter category in 2001 and 1999.

It's not looking good, 9.30 in the morning, a large breakfast and a PINT!
This is such a light, fruity easy drinking ale, beats the hell out of an orange juice.

A light, mild golden ale. Gentle citrus flavours are pleasant, but not very memorable.

Had before but can't believe I didn't review. Seems a little bit more creamy than before, don't know if it's because it's been stored in a proper underground cellar or in a modified back of a shop. Anyways, nice citrusy aroma. Citrus fruit taste with a subtle hoppiness mixed in. Slight bitter aftertaste but enjoyable. Smooth and easy drinking session ale.
