High Pike 4.2%, Hesket Newmarket Brewery, England

High Pike
4.2% Bitter
Malty Best Bitter. A deep amber coloured bitter with a full nutty character and a gentle chocolate malt finish. Complemented by a complex hop bitterness derived from traditional bittering and noble aromatic hops that deliver fruity notes. The result is a superb, traditional English Best Bitter that is flavoursome and quaffable.

Strong malt flavours with a nutty character. What one might call a proper English Best Bitter.

Last of the lakes brewery haul and it's a good un! Strong malt flavours abound with a mild nuttiness. The Malt is definitely the star here, reminds me of those Caribbean drinks. Lovely drop!
