Padstow IPA 4.8%, Padstow Brewing, England

Padstow IPA
4.8% English IPA
Like traditional Indian Pale Ales we have made our IPA with a stronger ABV. Yet it's still refreshing and satisfying.

This is what I would call a classic IPA, really nice and a proper classic from a small brewery

My God I’ve got a back log of stuff to get through. What a fantastic chore. If you could see the pile of Christmas present beer I still have to get through, the grin would split your head in half. And that excludes all the boring stuff bought by well meaning relatives. Another one from last weeks trip to Cornwall. For an IPA it’s mild - and perhaps a bit malty. Having said that it’s crisp and clear despite the bottle conditioning. The finish is very dry with perhaps a bit of a blunted edge. Better than most Cornish generic stuff - a decent beer, but not up with Verdant. Is it just me - or is 90’s rock better than I remember? Top tunes! Cheers all!!
