Five specialty malts make up Rebellion Black's deeply complex grist. Hot wort percolates through a bed of cocoa nibs on Cascade hops infusing our stout with dark chocolate smoothness in subtle contrast to the coffee-like intensity from the roasted malts.

You know what they say... once you go black, you never go back!! Is it nice? I’d say so! Slid down my gullet perhaps a bit more quickly than I would have liked at first sup. But after a few suckles on the brim, my gut was wriggling for more ! Best sampled by flicker of candle light, but best enjoyed down your gob. This nectar goes to town on a man’s palate but makes a swift egress, leaving you gasping for more. A bottle o’ juice for a thirsty traveller.

I love a dark beer when it's done well. It's thick and full-bodied on the palate. There's a slight chocolate note hidden within hearty coffee. Perfect Friday nights are started with beers like this...
