Midnight Train To Byker
10.0% Imperial IPA / Double IPA

Yeah, this is pretty good like. These cryo hops are like hops on steroids. They deliver big, incredibly juicy tropical and citrus flavour. Initially the bitterness was intense and a bit too much for me, detracting from the flavour slightly, but after a few mouthfuls it mellowed to a smooth finish with only a slight bitter citrus aftertaste. Apart from this initial bitterness my only problem is the carbonation, the head disappeared straight away and I think it would have helped if it had that great frothy roll around the mouth thing going on. Still sterling stuff!!
