A 6 malt blend giving a fairly complex & full bodied character to this smooth, black stout

Pale, citrus ale & at a very sessionable 3.8% I'd be happy enough to stick to it a while

I didn't fancy anything else available, so I decided to have another one straight after, obviously with the same details as before. It was an enjoyable drink and a good session ale.

1st retry of the day. Still a good session ale. Same profile as before, but seems more creamy and fruity than before. Still smooth and easy drinking; that's totally quaffable.

Decent drink. It has a nice hoppy aroma, a creamy mouthfeel with a nice citrusy taste, and a slight malty note leading to a hoppy finish. There is a slight sweetness to the aftertaste, but it is enjoyable. It is a smooth and easy-drinking session ale, especially at the ABV. I was expecting a day of retries, but it seems to be going differently so far.

It's a decent enough drink, but nothing overly special. It has a decent citrus fruit aroma and a similar taste profile with a subtle hoppiness mixed in. There is a slight bitter finish, but it's enjoyable. I would quite happily have it again. If I had to
