Ingredients list would suggest a lot is going on, almost too much. However that doesn’t give the brewer any credit, they’ve actually brewed a really good beer here. Pumpkin spice and coffee are all there but nothing is overpowering, it’s all mellow. Some more body would have made this a bit more indulgent but then it becomes a different beer. I like it’s drinkability.

Fruity and bitter with hints of caramel. Apricot and citrus spring to mind but it’s hard to nail down, not being from keg it’s not as clean and obvious. Being the dregs has its advantages though as it was a free pint! 🍻

My first ever 3-pronged or 3-legged twiglet!!!! Not the tastiest, but definitely the most value for money beer snack, for £1 the bag is endlessly deep! Anyway, the beer. Another that this fantastic pub serves too cold. How can this be overcome? It’s far too expensive to run separate lines for pale and dark keg. No idea what the solution is. The beer’s good. Hints of vanilla and it’s associated sweetness compliment the plentiful chocolate malt.
