Decent drink. Nice hoppy aroma. Hoppy taste with a slight citrusy note. Slight bitter finish, but enjoyable. Smooth and easy-drinking session ale, especially at the ABV, but steady on there, people, as it's very quaffable.

Had yesterday at cannock beer festival and forgot to review. Decent drink from what I can remember. Nice malty aroma and taste with a subtle coffee twang. Creamy with a nice bitter finish. Enjoyable drink and a good session ale even at the abv

A new beer, new brewery and new pub all in one go! Met up with a fellow Stout Nerd for a winter beer session (our last was in the height of summer and a mini heatwave). I really enjoyed this. Classic Porter character throughout with roast malts, burnt sugar, some slight astringent roast bitterness and coffee. Every so gently evident in the background was a herbal seediness which gave it a unique twist. Quite memorable and very enjoyable.
