Hazy notes to be enjoyed in the the summer sun. Passionate yet humble, clear yet complex, friendly yet challenging. This pint will quench you thirst but satisfy your inquisitively.

Possibly Guy’s best beer to date. Certainly his best IPA. I’m copy and pasting the blurb for the beer from there website. I can, because I wrote it!!! 😋😋😋 Mellow tropical aroma that screams fruit salad! Flavours of pineapple and to a lesser extent, apricot. A real intense juiciness to this beer with a late smattering of bitterness towards the end. Delicate flavours of fresh pine cone finish this beer off perfectly!

It’s been a while since I had this and the recipe has been tweaked a little. Stonefruits dominate, it feels like it’s more crisper and cleaner than before. Still a really good beer, must have more than one next time!

Malty, hints of citrus, chestnut and biscuits. Tangy marmalade comes through at the end. Not sure I could drink many of these as it’s rather robust, but certainly enjoyed this one!

Friday is here and I’m parched! Well ready for a beer! Guy has re-brewed his liquorice and blackcurrant stout and tweaked a few things. One for supping, one for warming up… This is tasting delicious! More body and less watery, noticeable straight away. Less bitterness. More silky and roastiness more pronounced. Fruity and earthy to boot. Just a lovely beer.

Tropical fruit with a hint of grapefruit. Retains its soft mouthfeel and gentle bitterness but some of the flavour and aroma has disappeared. Says a lot for drinking these sorts of beer fresh (but not too fresh!)

I wasn’t that impressed with the first few times I tried this but it seems I’ve got it at just the right time now as this is tasting superb! A real classic biscuity pale ale with oodles of juicy tangerine, peach and berries coming through. Could sink pints of this stuff!

The evolution of this beer continues apace… and it just keeps getting better. I’ve yet to delve into to what exactly the brewer has done differently but I’m assuming he’s adjusted the grain bill and played with the water profile, as well as tinkering with his hop schedule too. Is it even the same beer after all this?! 😂 There’s definitely a more dense hop character to it, more intensity in flavour and aroma. There’s still melon and citrus as well as Mooney gentle bitter finish. The mouthfeel feels fuller too, soft but filling and chewy. Will try a pint at the brewery next time and chew the brewers ears off until he tells me the secret 🤣

Quite bitter on the aftertaste, leading on from gentle Stonefruit flavours. Sessionable and easy drinking. Not my favourite of theirs but worth a pint once in a while.
