Beartown Brewery
Congleton, England

Hardworking, northern brewery with nearly 30 years dedicated to putting high quality beer on the bar In Beartown we like to think that it’s not just the beer that’s full of character. The story of a how the town Bible was sold to buy a bear is spoken far and wide. Such brazen courage changed the town forever, leaving a special kind of legacy that lasts to this day. We use our past as inspiration for our future; taking confidence from our decades of experience and new innovative approach of blending traditional and modern beer styles. Our brewing practices blend the traditional with the contemporary. We believe as a craft brewery that hard work and traditional brewing methods must be at the heart of what we do. From open top fermentation to nurturing our own yeast, Northern spirit and endeavour are what make Beartown beers unique.

This is a cracking drink with a nice citrus aroma. It has a creamy mouthfeel along with a nice hoppy taste mixed in. More citrusy fruit comes through on the tongue. It's slightly tart but leads to a subtle sweet finish, with a slight bitter aftertaste that is enjoyable.

Impressive as really does smell and taste of creme brulee! Perhaps its the added lactose. But it is sweet and creme and the toasted malt flavour done done well to produce a caught sugar feel

As described on the label. Sharp, citrussy and a little bitter right at the end. Very refreshing however. Could easily dilute this into a shandy.
