We approach beer through our love for Oslo and the fantastic opportunities and setting this city offers, during all seasons. We are putting the city on the map. And we’re using our beer to do so. We’re doing everything in the now. Our company is not based on thousand years of experience, but based on what beer is today and what our city is today. Oslo is extremely exciting. So is beer.

5% California Common / Steam Beer. Oslo Brewing Company.

My prior encounter(s?) with steam beer were not convincing, but this Nordic concussion is great. Crisp vanilla cookies with refreshing fruity hop notes in the back. And it pairs surprisingly well with some Chino-Indonesian take out. (I have written about the weird Dutch cultural heritage of Chino-Indonesian Specialty Restaurants in a prior post).

Tumma melkeen musta liuos. Vaalea vaahto. Sisältää laktoosia joka pudottaa mun pisteet roimasti tälle. Muuten hyvä juotava, kuin makea imperial stoutti mutta porteriksi kutsuttu. Pehmeä, jopa imelä muttei karvas kuin hetken ajan. Jälkimaussa laimea yleismaku.
