Decent drink. Nice malty aroma with a slight coffee note. Creamy mouthfeel, as expected. Malty taste with a nice coffee tang, slight chocolate note leading to a subtle sweet finish. Slight bitter aftertaste, but enjoyable. Smooth and easy-drinking ale. I shall have to watch out for 2ton Ted from Teddington. Thank God for Trigger.

Cask; pours a deep dark ruby, off white tan head; on the nose malt forward, roasted coffee, cinnamon and dark butter chocolate; in the mouth smooth and light, roasted coffee and caramel, followed by sweet cinnamon and bitter dark chocolate; medium to full bodied, medium to long aftertaste

Returning from Pint Please hiatus. Adequate dry blonde from a brewery of the heralded North West of England. Light at first with a mild punch in the aftertaste. Nice golden colour. Middling, but agreeable. Have rated generously for purposes of heritage. Did the job.
