Hazy, deep golden beer with meager though long-lasting carbonation unlocks a white fluffy cloudy head that rises one finger tall and dissolves rapidly to a neat lace ring on top. The retreating foam leaves horizontal downpouring lines on the glass.
The scent is really interesting: almost zero. I can only sense very faint bitter orange and a slightly sweet bready suggestion. It's particularly strange since the beer contains cannabis sativa but there's no indication of it in the fragrance.
The taste is shocking: like a cocktail of watery pale lager, bitter lemon peel and a heavy dose of sugar. It's precisely the sugar that makes the palate unpleasant. Some bitter orange zest and a tiny dollop of blood grapefruit juice bring in a fruity character to the whole. Overall, strangely unbalanced and unappealing.
The skinny-bodied beer ends with sugared bitter orange zest, grated lemon peel, weak pale malt and a mild note of hops. The aftertaste is, unfortunately, at least of medium duration.
The mouthfeel is thin and watery, oddly sweetened, industrial and unbalanced. It's uninspiring and even a bit unbeery -- in a bad way.
Half a glass was enough, the rest went down the drain.
