Decent drink, 1st Attic beer I've had, I think. Nice hoppy aroma. Creamy mouthfeel. Hoppy taste with a nice refreshing sweet finish. Enjoyable drink. Smooth and easy drinking session ale especially at the abv

Barrel aged? Really? Bourbon? Really?
Anyway I think this is a good Imperial Stout. Smooth, dry, roasted malts, coffee and chocolate.
Lots of liquorice in aroma and in taste.
Some Bourbon and Vanilla in aftertaste.

Wow. That is the first stout that has really tasted like chocolate and by that I mean milk chocolate(but given they are based in bournville no shortage of chocolate). Silky luxurious with a hint of vanilla sweetness. A touch of raisin coming through the middle from the hops and a bittering back end with roasted and coffee notes but not aggressive in any way. Not for the hardened stout drinkers but blooming lovely if you don't mind a touch of sweetness in your stout

Lovely medium to full body mouthfeel. This is dangerous as shows no signof the abv could be mistaken for session 4%. Vibrant citrus kick of lemon, orange and background soft stone fruits behind them. Quality pint
