The taste is hoppy and light. While sipping it you can taste a hint of a light citrus similar to grapefruit. I would recommend this beer as a great starter for someone who is looking to get into more intense ales. Leaning more into the bitter side of ale.

Not very flavorful for octoberfest beer, like it though, nice, easy sipping
