Refreshing beer with pineapple aroma and flavour. Nice summer beer but a bit too sour for me.

Well this is a complete lack of imagination, how can a brewery not think of a new name for a new beer? I am not reviewing the 4.6% Kölsch made by MakeMake called Lady Stardust but this is a 6% Sour IPA called Lady Stardust by MakeMake. Golden orange colour Orange/grapefruit aroma Fruity juiciness, tones of orange and grapefruit. The grapefruit brings the sour flavours and it’s on the right side of sour for me. Nice

Cocoa and vanilla aromas. Big coffee hit backed with subtle chocolate notes. High levels of carbonation soon dissipate. As the beer warms to room temperature the vanilla comes through strong and the other flavours mellow. A fantastic base beer to go forward with. I can see this standing up well as a robust porter, nitro infused, imperialised or barrel aged... Good value being a 500ml can too...

Very easy drinking even if it was served ice cold! If I wasn’t in a hurry I’d be tempted to let it warm. Very mellow flavours. Some roastiness, some bitterness and a subtle creaminess. Minimal carbonation. This would be drank by the bucketloads in summer but it’s a bit too thin and a bit too cold for this fine of year.
