Yesterday's Smootherine #3 was quite insane, let's see what tonight's edition (#2) has to offer. The beer looks equally pervy as the one of yesterday. The color resembles mango lassi, extremely thick, glowing bright and seductive. This time carbonation doesn't give me unwanted surprises, the head is negligible and colors deep warm yellow. Looks like very thick smoothie. 🧡💛🧡 Dry peanut is enormously dominant in the scent. The beer contains peanut butter but this is not peanut butter but rather dry peanut. Like bird feed. The nuance of peanut is actually slightly vegetal. Mushy mango flesh and banana try to rival the lofty peanut but have to remain in the background. The taste pushes down the bitter dry peanut and lifts up especially mango. I wonder if there's lactose also in the gustatory sphere. Very creamy, indeed like mango lassi. Fresh banana thickens the porridge further. Even the peanut is now more like peanut butter instead of mere dry peanut. Crazy stuff!! 💛🧡💛 The body is as full as full can be. The finish serves massive mango banana lassi with smaller amendments of both dry peanut and peanut butter. The aftertaste gives tribute to the Elvis sandwich. 3000 kcal is nothing for breakfast. The mouthfeel is huge and full, deep, rich, creamy and absolutely desserty. It's quite gentle and modestly carbonated although not shy in any respect. Very velvety and smooth for sure. Thick, smoothie-like cocktail. Seriously mouthcoating. A spoon would be a good idea! Quite far from a beer. Malt and hops are overrated — adjuncts are the new emperors! Interesting, innovative and intriguing. A curiosity. NOTE: The barcode leads to "Smootherine" (#1 of the series).

This beer doesn't travel the beaten track: it pours enormously turbid, dirty okra. Floating and sinking fruit particles are plentiful. Carbonation is decent — meaning, not particularly powerful, but the emerging warm yellow, frothy volcano keeps on pushing up and up and soon also out of the glass. This time I wasn't vigilant... The glass is left like a hurricane had stormed it all over. Banana is generous in the air. Unlike in most cases where I find banana in the scent, this time it's not fermented but rather ripe fresh. Cinnamon adds a slightly spicy, even peppery twist to it. Raw cacao flies in the background and is further accompanied by apple and a suggestion of rowanberry. Quite an interesting medley for a beer! Even though I expected that the palate was smoothie-like, it astonishes me: it's even more smoothie-like than I can imagine. Superthick! Banana, indeed, coats the mouth effectively. Apple, tangerine, pineapple and nectarine want to squeeze themselves into the overcrowded package. Cinnamon remains voluntarily in a distance but signals clearly its presence. Raw cacao is now substantially modest. Overall, very fruity, light-sour and totally unbeery! The body is full. The end shows a tad pungency which probably results from the increasing sourness and tingly spiciness of cinnamon. The fruity particulars include banana, apple, a bit of lemon zest and a suggestion of rowanberry. The aftertaste splashes shreds of fruits on the wall and ends up quickly cleaning the mess. The mouthfeel is robust, thick, moderately tart, slightly pungent and spiced. It's tropical, turbid, massively smoothie-like, deep and absolutely unbeery. Would probably otherwise be close to perfection but the frothy slam is excessive. My thanks go to Pint Please for this and many other beers from Beerdome. 🙏🏻🍻
