The Kernel Brewery
London, England
chevron_leftchevron_right
Generally regarded as being among Britain's modern brewing elite, and for good reason. Evin O’Riordain and his cohorts have been brewing professionally for the best part of a decade now, and in that time they have helped to change the face of London brewing. The Kernel’s success – based on a combination of powerfully flavoured American-style pale ales and old-school London dark beers, with some superb barrel-aged beers too - has forced a move from the Bermondsey railway arch where it began to another, larger arch further down the line. The brewery is open on Saturday mornings for off-sales only.

Bottled over 1 year ago. Aroma: Milk chocolate, roasted malts, slight hint of alcohol.
Taste: First it’s creamy, caramelly & smooth. Then it turns more roasty, dry & bitter. Slight hint of tobacco in the end.
Overall an awsome beer! This beer changes from batch to batch!

It's very malty, quite a strong aftertaste. It's nice but I think one is enough 👍🏻
