The Kernel Brewery
London, England
chevron_leftchevron_right
Generally regarded as being among Britain's modern brewing elite, and for good reason. Evin O’Riordain and his cohorts have been brewing professionally for the best part of a decade now, and in that time they have helped to change the face of London brewing. The Kernel’s success – based on a combination of powerfully flavoured American-style pale ales and old-school London dark beers, with some superb barrel-aged beers too - has forced a move from the Bermondsey railway arch where it began to another, larger arch further down the line. The brewery is open on Saturday mornings for off-sales only.

Mosaic hops give it a slightly unusual taste for a porter. Cheers!

Like a milder version of their Pale Ale. A suitable beer to ease myself back in with after a very long dry January. Hello, old friend, it's been too long. Cheers!

Similar to other beers of a similar genre from this particular brewery. That said, very enjoyable.
