The Kernel Brewery
London, England

Generally regarded as being among Britain's modern brewing elite, and for good reason. Evin O’Riordain and his cohorts have been brewing professionally for the best part of a decade now, and in that time they have helped to change the face of London brewing. The Kernel’s success – based on a combination of powerfully flavoured American-style pale ales and old-school London dark beers, with some superb barrel-aged beers too - has forced a move from the Bermondsey railway arch where it began to another, larger arch further down the line. The brewery is open on Saturday mornings for off-sales only.

Bottled over 1 year ago. Aroma: Milk chocolate, roasted malts, slight hint of alcohol. Taste: First it’s creamy, caramelly & smooth. Then it turns more roasty, dry & bitter. Slight hint of tobacco in the end. Overall an awsome beer! This beer changes from batch to batch!

It's very malty, quite a strong aftertaste. It's nice but I think one is enough 👍🏻
