Interesting IPA. I think that the low carbonation of the cask beer mutes the bitterness a fair bit but you definitely get a citrus flavoured aftertaste on the tongue.

Quite an enjoyable brown ale. Malty sweetness immediately ends on the palate with a nutty bitterness. Wasn’t sure one the first sip if I liked it but on the second and subsequent drinks, it becomes quite a nice strong beer.

A strong standard IPA. Would be a good session beer as it is well flavoured and not too strong or high on ABV. Enjoyable everyday

Plenty of flavour from the malts and you can tell there is more of the crystal malt caramel flavours coming through but the bitterness on this one seems to lack. The hops seem to struggle to come through in this beer. Good for those who enjoy sweeter beers

I have noticed that the cask beers have far subtler bitterness when it comes to tasting. The flavours are still as you would enjoy from an IPA but it seems that without the carbonation the bitterness is muted. Not worse, just different. Overall a nice flavoured IPA with plenty of citrus notes

A nice cask ale with malty flavours up front with a very slight bitterness coming in after. Wouldn’t be my go to though

Lovely flavour, reminded me of coffee or plain chocolate. Friend said it was "amost nutty". Enjoyable enough, very festive in its taste.

A fine pint! Nowt more to say.
