Enville Ales Limited
Enville, England
chevron_leftchevron_right
You can find Enville Brewery nestled amongst the beautiful rolling hills and valleys of the South Staffordshire countryside. Whilst stables may not be the obvious choice for most emerging breweries, Enville’s founder could see that these unused farm buildings would be the perfect, if somewhat unlikely, home for a brewery. We have been brewing award-winning ales here in the village of Enville since 1993.

Disappointingly un-gingery. If Crabbies is the benchmark, this has a way to go to even be close to that taste. Not bad, just not as I expected or as described.

This is a really nice ale. Thoroughly enjoyed its sweet edge with the honey on a light beer base.

Forgot that I'd already tried this one but here goes. Decent drink. Nice hoppy aroma. Hoppy taste with a subtle honey sweetness to finish. Slight bitter aftertaste but enjoyable. Smooth and easy drinking session ale.
Feel like I was a bit mean when scoring last time hence the slightly better rating

I actually had it last night but forgot to review it. Same profile as before but way more creamy. Way better than before. Still a good session ale even at the abv but steady on there people as it's very quaffable

Another bostin pint. Same profile as the normal Enville Gothic but with a massive amount of ginger thrown in the mix. Ginger aroma but subtle as is the taste. And then the spicy ginger hits, wallop. Smooth and easy having said that. A good session ale but beware as it is very quaffable.

Bostin pint. Nice roasted malt aroma. Creamy mouthfeel. Malty taste with a nice caramel note. Slight coffee note to finish but enjoyable. Subtle sweet aftertaste but enjoyable. Smooth and easy drinking session ale even at the abv again.
