Blackheath’s very own brewpub has been at it for a while, pumping out clean-tasting, good value classics (pale ale, pilsner, wheat ale) that work well with the exotically (some might say erratically) flavoured pizzas which form the mainstay of the menu. Views of the heath itself are somewhat limited, unfortunately, but you can see all the brewing behind the bar. Part of a chain of brewpubs with the other sites all outside of London.

Personally thoroughly enjoying this pint, v fruity and light. Have been told by the barmaid it’s far too sweet but fuck that like juice in a pint glass

A smooth and mild-flavoured lager, with fine bubbles and not much head.
