OctoberFest
5.3% Oktoberfest / Märzen
In 1810, the Oktoberfest tradition was born when Munich celebrated the Crown Prince's wedding with a special beer and 16 day party. Our version of this classic style blends hearty malts for a deep, smooth flavor with notes of caramel creating a brew that's perfect for the season, or whatever you're celebrating.

Sam Adams Octoberfest is one of, if not the most perfect beers for the fall season. I remember the first time I tried it at a local bar in Scranton, PA on draft, and it changed the way I viewed beers going forward. The crisp and sweet cinnamon and nutmeg flavor comes to be a perfect pairing with a Thanksgiving meal or something savory like a white meat dish such as chicken. The bottle version is OK, the can version is good, but nothing beats Sam Adams Octoberfest on draft. The cinnamon sugar rimmed glass definitely helps and adds a kick of sweetness and flavor profiles that elevate the beer even further. Definitely one of my favorites and is something I am excited about when it’s the fall season. It isn’t fall without Sam Adams Octoberfest.
