A stronger version of the original Milk Shake recipe, using even greater amounts of chocolate malts, vanilla, the addition of cacao nibs and then aged it in Woodford Reserve Bourbon barrels. The result is a lusciously rich, velvety and satisfying beer with deep notes of prunes and chocolate.

It pours black with a dark brown bubbly head that fizzles away quickly. Aroma is of stone fruits and muscovado sugar. Flavour is sweet with plums and muscovado sugar, leading to a bourbon finish. Mouthfeel is smooth and silky. At this strength, it is definitely a sipper, but what a decadent, tasty beer.
