Leicht getrübt, hellgelb im Glas, stabile Schaumkrone. In der Nase kräutriges Zwickl, bisschen Kellermuff. (was zu einem Zwickl gehört) Geschmacklich ähnlich. Von Grundgeschmack und Kohlensäure her ein typisches Zwickl. Dazu kommt noch die Kräutrigkeit vom Eukalyptus. Es ist nicht scharf, es ist ggf erfrischend. Aus einem Tasting-Glas genossen ist es mMn schwierig, da unter Umständen, der Gesamteindruck getrübt wird. Für mich kein typisches Feierabendbier. Im Biergarten zum Sommer bestimmt sehr gut.

Limited Edition Ein Koala aus Bamberg Aroma ... Hammer, echt mal anders ... Eukalyptus, fruchtige Nuancen, frische Prise Geschmack ... frisch, hopfig, auch hier der Eukalyptus Feine fruchtige Note im Abgang. Sehr leckeres Getränk.

Einzigartig trifft es hier am besten. Wird sicher nicht mein Feierabendbier, aber mal echt was anderes.

So something a little different this is koala from hopfengarten in bamberg this is a tiny little brewery which is located in what seems to be a garden centre in bamberg Germany. The beer is called koala and is a light pale beer with eucalyptus (grown on site) added to give the beer a nice very subtle feel of eucalyptus it would be a great summer beer and really clever idea. As a side note the brewery was actually closed today but the owners a father and son team let us come and try some beers with them! They often do events and look like a great local brewery!
