Lovely Plumb Porter sipped while watching Guy Ritchie’s “The Covenant”. Reminiscent of Titanic’s Plum Porter, one of my favourites. Now we are on an 8% Double Dry Hopped DIPA from Brewdog. Review to follow.

Decent session ale. Nice fruity aroma with a slight malty note. Fruity taste with a nice blackberry and stone fruit twist. Subtle sweetness to finish. Enjoyable drink

Yes, this is a good beer. A nice, albeit not stellar porter base, with just a little hint of sweetness so that it’s not sickly. Definitely get the plum and blackcurrant flavour coming through. A good wintery drop!

Lovely fruity aroma and the taste of the plum doesn't disappoint either. It just lacks the depth I was expecting from a porter
