Barrel Aged Advent Calendar Day #4 Bottled on 9-20-2022 Buttery french toast aroma. No noticeable bourbon yet. Taste has much of the same. Buttery french toast with a shot of bourbon. Adult breakfast in a glass. Slightly more boozy than I remember this being, but not really in a bad way. The body is medium-full with a medium-low amount of carbonation. Slightly less carbonation would be the only thing I'd change about this, but overall it's a great beer. The 2 years in the cellar didn't hurt this one so far. All the expected flavors are still present and accounted for. I believe I still have 1 bottle, so maybe in 2 more years, this'll make another advent appearance. 4.5/5

Aroma: Loads of maple syrup and vanilla from far away. Closer, I get some bourbon mixed with cinnamon. A bit boozy when the nose is close to the liquid. Taste: It’s like nothing I’ve tasted in years. Loads of maple, bourbon and vanilla flavors. Very light cinnamon. Some roasted dry notes deeper into the glass. Smooth and boozy at the same time. I’m confused.

This beer wreaks of heaven. OMFG. Easily the best beer I’ve had in months it feels. Rich in aroma and flavor, heavy and smooth. Great dessert beer. Cheers!
