Brewed for export, just like its 19th century predecessors. Medium-bodied IPA, low carbonation, very soft, almost creamy texture. On the palate, notes of biscuit, caramel and citrus emerge, also detectable to the nose (orange, grapefruit). Pleasant bitter aftertaste with some light herby notes. A very well balanced, clean IPA, very easy to drink.

Bernsteinfarben wie Ahornhonig, schwache Blume. Kräftiger Antrunk, Zitrusnoten und Malz eher untergeordnet, Kräuteraromen, auch reifes Kernobst und schon eine merkliche Bittere, die im Haupttrunk mächtig zulegt, ohne dass es zu viel wird. Sehr vollmundig und rund, nicht übermäßig frisch und schlank, aber das muss man als IPA auch nicht. Gutes Gesöff!
