Not horrible but not for me. Thanks, no thanks. The pumpkin spice is subtle and surrounded with a slight char flavor.

Has pumpkin spice with cinnamon & nutmeg but quite subtly done. You can’t miss but it’s not over done like most of this style. Has some notes of chocolate along with the roasted malt.

This is a side by side review between 2017 and 2018 Warlock. 2017: Pumpkin in the aroma. A bit of a sweetness as well that I can't quite put my finger on. Taste has huge pumpkin up front. I'm also getting cinnamon, allspice and maybe some ginger. Slightly bitter with a nice sweetness. 2018: Pumpkin and subtle pumpkin pie spices in the aroma. That same sweetness from the 2017 version is coming through a little bit stronger. The pumpkin is much stronger in this one. Taste has huge pumpkin up front along with cinnamon, allspice and ginger. More bitter. Medium-full body with a medium-low carbonation on both years. While the same flavors are present in both years, I like the pumpkin flavor in the 2017 better. I'm not sure if the age on it made the difference or if they tweaked the recipe, but the 2017 is drinking much sweeter, which highlights the pumpkin more. I guess I'll find out next year when I try a 2018 against a 2019. I'll give the 2018 a 3.75/5 and the 2017 a 4/5
