Having a Duo beer with my son-in-law in Houston. A beer that I brought to him for us to critique together. Actually using the same Ingenious glassware. Being a nitro beer the head was high and extremely thick. Looks like a cloud sitting on top of the beer. Strong coconut aroma with notes of chocolate. Just one sip and my son-in-law and I both knew this one was going to go to battle for a five rating. Extremely smooth texture. Not at all heavy, especially for a beer with a 10% alcohol content. Velvety soft with tons of flavor but is not oily and does not coat the inside of your mouth. Flavor blossoms with intense dark milk chocolate totally combined with the best coconut flavor I've experienced in a beer. They blend together perfectly as the finish adds a mild bitterness, some heavy cream, and a touch of vanilla. Nowhere is that 10.0% alcohol apparent. The uninformed would probably sit back and drink three or four of these quickly and then not understand what just hit them. My favorite dessert stouts are to be savored, sipped in small amounts until they are regrettably gone. Not this one. It begs for me to drink it like a Lonestar beer direct from the can. I sadly bought this as a single to try it out. I have got to find more of this fantastic beer. And yes, definitely got a 5.0 rating from both of us.
