A cask stout with White Oak wood staves added. These staves have been soaked for 48hrs in award winning Scotch, before being added directly to the firkin. This then allows the flavours to infuse into the stout.

Kuvassa oikealla.
Melko vetinen. Vaatii useamman huikan ennen kuin maku alkaa kunnolla löytymään.
Maku on aika kuiva, paahteinen, aavistus kahvia. Viski maistuu myös miedosti.

Was all giddy with excitement when I saw this. It was good, but not that good. The base stout was of the dry Irish variety so a bit watery and evidently roasty. That roastiness doesn’t pair well with scotch whisky, so the flavour is a bit too much for me. Roasty, peaty, Smokey, but then dry and watery.
