I like this strong and tasty with a sweetish finish. Enjoyable.

This shit gets exported to the US?! I’m guessing the only reason these beers are on the British market is because of the downturn in imports over the last year, the bottle clearly states for the US market. My point on this is that the US knocks out seriously good Barleywine so WTF?! This is average at best and to top it all, there’s a hint of Belgian yeast that can’t be ignored. Hints of stewed tea and caramel soon give way to quadrupel aromas and those big esters. The worst barleywine I’ve ever had.
