The aroma is very strongly coconut-forward. There are also cocoa and vanilla. The mouthfeel is moderately carbonated, structured, sweet, rich, smooth, and very drinkable. A great mouthfeel overall. In terms of taste, coconut hits strongly right from the start. For my personal taste, it’s a bit too dominant, overshadowing other flavors, especially at the beginning. Luckily, it mellows out gradually. There's also cocoa, sweetness, vanilla, chocolate, and a hint of coffee. I’d love to detect bourbon as well, but I might or might not find it. The aftertaste is drier, smooth, still rich in coconut, and leaves a pleasant warmth in the mouth. There’s also a lingering caramel or maple syrup-like flavor. I had expected the barrel-aging to play a more prominent role, balancing out with the other elements in both taste and aroma. However, it falls short and is even somewhat difficult to detect. The mouthfeel is excellent. There’s a lot to like in the flavor, but for me, the coconut takes up too much space while the bourbon is far too subtle. ______________________ Tuoksussa on tosi vahvasti kookosta. Tuoksussa myös kaakaota ja vaniljaa. Suutuntuma on keskihiilihappoinen, ryhdikäs, makeahko, pehmeä ja juotavuus on tosi hyvä. Hyvä suutuntuma. Maussa iskee heti alkuun vahvasti kookos. Omaan makuun liian vahvasti ja jyrää mielestäni siksi hieman muut maut varsinkin alussa. Onneksi tasaantuu pikku hiljaa. Mausta löytyy myös kaakaota, makeutta, vaniljaa, suklaata ja hieman kahvia. Haluaisin myös löytää bourbonia, mutta ehkä löydän ehkä en. Jälkimaku on jo kuivempi, pehmeä, edelleen runsaasti kookosta ja jättää kivan lämmön suuhun. Suuhun jää myös pyörimään karamellinen tai vaahterasiirappinen maku. Odotin, että tynnyröinti olisi ottanut selvästi enemmän roolia, eli olisi ollut maussa ja tuoksussa mukana tasavertaisena muiden kanssa, mutta nyt jää kyllä pahasti jalkoihin ja saa jopa etsiä sitä. Suutuntuma tosi hyvä. Maussa paljon hyvää, mutta itselleni kookos ottaa liikaa roolia ja bourbon liian vähän.
