A dark double-bock beer that’s an invitation to celebrate. The Doppel-Hirsch is a noble, traditional beer with 18.5° Plato original wort and 7.2 % vol. alcohol. Contains at least 75 % dark brewer’s malt and tastes exceptionally malty, full-bodied, velvety and mellow with light hop bitter.

Smells treacle-y. Tastes it too. Deep. Not sweet but still sickly? But not in a bad way. Though I haven't had a whole one. Dark. Big fan.

Allgäuer Dunkler Doppelbock. Eine ausgezeichnete Bier-Spezialität vom Hirschbräu. Heute direkt aus der Flasche, daher Farbe und Schaum außer Wertung. Der Geschmack überzeugt aber vollends. Trotz 7,2%Vol. eine ausgewogene Balance. Dominiert von Röstmalz und schokoladigen Noten.

….Handwerk, kleine Craft-Beer Gastro in Sonthofen, vom Fass. Kräftige Malzsüße und etwas Röstaromen. Gut eingebundener Alkoholgehalt. Trotzdem haut er mich nicht vom Hocker. 4/3,5/3,5
