One of the best ales I’ve tried in a long time; has a rich fruity taste with notes of malt, caramel and a smooth silky finish. Has a gentle bitterness that balances the sweetness without overpowering the malt flavours. The finish is smooth with a complex mix of raisins, orange and sultanas.

Fruity dark ale originally brewed by Gales, these days it's part of the Fullers brand. Would undoubtedly scored it higher had I not got the end of the barrel, from memory it's a great beer!

Out in the garden enjoying a nightcap with this fantastic beer. A silky smooth ruby ale with a smooth rich and fruity flavour. Has a hint of fruitcake and a sweet bitterness that rounds up a smooth finish. One of the best I’ve tried!

This beer needs no introduction. Not in the best condition but still, a great pint and a fine setting to have it in.
