Rather enjoyable liquid repast. Rich and full-bodied. Good on the nose, probably smells better than it tastes, but very agreeable. Potent dry finish with a lingering aftertaste but went down very easily. Pleased with this as often feel short changed with stouts and the like. Decent.

By far the best from this years rainbow project so far. Barrel aged Saison from Hawkshead and Modern Times. There’s a vinous character from the red wine barrels alongside a big whack of apricot. Dry and yeasty with light fluffy carbonation. Very good indeed!
