Sitting outszon a blanket on the grass under a tree and two blue tits that are feeding their young, reading a book about a wife being locked in an attic and locked up in an insane asylum, listening to birds cheating, and trying to stay away from the argument and stress going on indoors. It's a good beer for that. At 5% it's dark and heavy enough to feel comforting. It has a good but not too strong flavour that reminds me of not-quite-burnt toast.

Well, that's very dark for a lager! I saw "Lager" on the bottle and pictured Fosters. I figured I'd try anyway, as the last "helles" I had was very good. It doesn't smell of much. A bit richer and more chocolatey than a lager I guess. From smell I'd say a very weak stout. I was expecting a taste to match the colour. It's actually very smooth and coffee like. Not really bitter at all. I rate this beer.

Heute bei mir im Glas: ein dunkles Lager der Krug Bräu, Breitenlesau, mit 5 Prozent Alkoholgehalt. Im Glas mahagonifarben ist die leicht eingefärbte, schaumige Blume relativ stabil. In der Nase habe ich einen floralen Duft und leichte Aromen von Malz. Der Antrunk ist mild und trocken, dann kommen Röstmalze und minimal Karamell durch. Das Bier erinnert hier an ein Schwarzbier. Der Körper ist schlank, die Rezenz angenehm. Zum Abgang hin verwässert das Bier leider etwas. Mich überzeugt dieses Bier nicht vollständig.
