Flight 4/4 steps out of the beaten track: murky, deep dark brown beer with a tawny silky head that exceeds one finger. Roasted malt, licorice, perhaps a hint of raw cacao powder in the air. Well well... The roasted, or even a bit burned malt, continues on the tongue. Raw chocolate, cacao powder, distant licorice, faint caramel accompany the main crew. A light-medium to medium body. Ends with roasted flavors. Feels light-medium, roasty, distantly burned, slightly husky but still relatively smooth. I wished for more...

Flight 3/4 portrays misty, pale yellow, as well. A restrained off-white lacing only. A rather sweet-leaning scent: fruit winegum, candy, kiwi, dragonfruit. A light body, of course. The tail is equally sweet as upfront. The mouthfeel is light, nectar-like, pulpy, tropical, candy-like. Quite easy this one, too.

Flight 2/4 is dressed in semifoggy, pale yellow. A frogspawny head reaches one finger. A surprisingly modest fragrance: I can only pick faint pineapple. Okay, the taste? I receive pineapple, tangerine, green grape and a hint of lactose. A light body here, as well. The sensation is light minus, zesty, pulpy, semitropical and marginally lip-glueing.

The first visit to Tired Uncle's taproom in the new location. A flight of four will start this encounter. Flight 1/4 displays hazy yellow. A velvety off-white head of one finger. Peach, guava, blood orange and clementine in the air. A zesty promise! The gustatory universe is relatively sweet: guava, clementine, tangerine and blood orange. A light body. Feels juicy, pulpy, medium-tropical. No crispness at all. Easy.
