Probably the best tasting base stout I have tried! Fantastic barrel aged beer!

Really lovely aroma. Plenty of dark chocolate, caramel, a bit of almond, and some whisky. The mouthfeel is slightly sweet, balanced, smooth, good body and still very easy to drink. The flavour immediately brings chocolate pralines to mind. There’s lots of dark chocolate, whisky, chocolate pralines, almond, nuts and caramel. The aftertaste warms the chest nicely and leaves a dark chocolate praline note in the mouth, supported by a pleasant whisky character. This is a really good beer! Very well balanced, and the flavour profile works beautifully. One of the best Bourbon County Brand Stout releases in a while. ___________________ Ompa tosi kiva tuoksu. Runsaasti tummaa suklaata, karamelliä, vähän mantelia ja viskiä. Suutuntuma on runsas, makeahko, ryhdikäs, tasapainoinen, pehmeä ja kuitenkin oikein helposti juotava. Maku tuo heti mieleen suklaakonvehdit. Maussa on paljon tummaa suklaata, viskiä, suklaakonvehteja, mantelia, pähkinää ja karamelliä. Jälkimaku lämmittää kivasti rintaa ja jättää suuhun tumman suklaakonvehdin maun, joka kiva viskisyys tukee. On kyllä hyvä olut! Tosi hyvin tasapainossa ja makupaletti toimii tosi hyvin. Onnistuneimpia Bourbon County Brand Stout -sarjan oluita hetkeen.

New Year's day on the beach with my family. And Alabama in the Rose Bowl about to begin. We need some luck to win against Indiana. A Bourbon County Brand beer is perfect, you know it's going to be good. Poured it on the beach balcony with the grandkids on the beach in the background. Now the beer. Beautiful tan head on the balcony handrail. Aroma, damn! Heavy stone fruit. Sweet. Whiskey with that unusual barrel flavor from the cheer wood. Anticipation is unrestrained. Flavor does not disappoint. I'm blown away. Strong dark fruit, prunes, raisin, creamy that lightly coats the mouth, sweet, alcohol that tingles the back of the throat, and the wood characteristics. The cherry is different. Everything is unique. No flavored extras. Just beer and barrel. Excellent!!

Best before 2026.08.11. Cola notes in aroma. In taste not noticeable. There was some unusual note at the beginning but it was so brief, tht I wasn't even able to recognize it. Chocolate, bourbon. Low to medium body. Alcohol well hidden, nicely warms in throat.
