Southwark Brewing
England

There are some excellent breweries in Bermondsey, but few have as much experience to call on as Southwark. Peter Jackson - the driving force behind the brewery - has spent 30 years in the business, and he's enlisted the help of ex-Roosters man Sean Franklin to design the brew kit; pop in on Saturday to admire his idiosyncratic handiwork. The beers are served on cask and in keg; expect best bitter, golden ale, porter and more besides.

Standard Mild Ale. Reasonably malty but not to any extent. Far better Winter Ales available. IMO.
