Flight 3/4 (2). Limpid! Brilliant gold beer. A creamy velvety head.
A proposal of passionfruit in the fragrance. This. Is. Sour. Like mandarin and orange. Did I get the right beer? It must be, the sour ales are not even near this tap.
The taste confuses me more! This, indeed, is sour! Or medium-sour. Orange zest and peel, green gooseberry, passionfruit. If it's a Sour IPA, I'll accept it. [Yes, it is.]
The impression left behind is light, a tad tart, not really puckering, zesty and drying.

Flight 2/4 (2) is a TIPA. Challenging? Let's see. Cloudy, deep orange beer. A generous cloud-white fluffy head. Astonishingly long retention.
Cantaloupe or honeydew in the air. Or both? Quite sweet anyway. Mango and clementine, too.
Indeed, a sweet ripe fruity smash on the tongue: honeydew, cantaloupe, mango, papaya, clementine, lactose. A touch of vanilla? Why not. No trace of alcohol despite the ABV.
The sensation is medium-full to full, nectar-like, thick, tropical, lip-glueing, soft and smooth. Ripe but not canned. Successful!

Connecting flight. Yeah.
Flight 1/4 (2). Hazy, mango orange beer. An impotent off-white lacing. Grapefruit and lemon in the scent. A suggestion of pineapple, as well.
Pineapple is somewhat copious in the flavor composition, too. Tangerine, blood orange, grapefruit, bitter lemon accompany the main star. Hop burn first in the end, disappears later.
The mouthfeel is light-medium, zesty, pithy, marginally dank, crisp, dry and drying. Gulpable. More to the west coast than to the east coast. A West Coast Hazy maybe?

A free sample from the bar 🫶🏻 Lucid gold beer. Orange, tangerine and a perfumy nuance hover in the air. White guava, orange, tangerine and wheat malt land on the taste receptors. Feels light, medium-tart, a bit puckering, acidic. More "normal" than any of the previous beers.

Flight 4/4. Misty yellow beer. Slightly paleish. A moussy, pure white head.
A weird smell... Like stale. After a few test inhales, it's like fresh/wet hop. Grassy. Or hempen. But there is something strange here, as well. Rancid butter. Oh dear, this is a confusing flight 😳
Fresh hop is recognizable in the gustatory sphere. Grassy, weedy. Lemon zest and peel. Passionfruit. Raw pineapple. Wheat and lactic acid, what else?
The impression is light, hempen but not dank, herbal anyway. Tart, puckering and acidic – it goes without saying, I guess.
Looks like l'Apaisee can make a reasonable sour ale of almost anything? Lettuce? Pike? Kebab? I'm open!

Flight 3/4. Lucid gold beer. A thick, clean snow-white head.
The olfactory sphere reveals something floral. But extraordinarily distant. Faint lemon, too. Overall, restrained. The floral punch grows dramatically in the mouth. Okay, it's angélique. Which is... [wait a second...] ... yes, angelica. Doesn't help much? 'Väinönputki' in Finnish. Passionfruit, orange, maybe even tangerine and wheat malt. Lactic acid big time.
The sensation is light, actually a bit lighter than the first two beers. Tartness is noticeable but less than that of the first two beers. A tad puckering, acidic, zesty and drying. Did I forget floral? It's floral.

Flight 2/4. This is another strange piece: a smoked pepper sour ale. Almost translucent, copper beer. A modest lacing only.
A smoked hint in the scent that naturally intensifies when the beer gets warmer. Nevertheless, I couldn't associate it with sweet pepper, had I not known, but rather grapefruit, orange and turnip. Interesting!
Sweet pepper remains camouflaged to my tastebuds. Sour, for sure. And smoked. I would guess orange peel, lemon zest, maybe passionfruit, lactic acid... Very difficult. I have to include sweet pepper or Bell pepper here but, honestly speaking, I couldn't identify it like this. Wheat in the basement.
This one feels light, moderately smoked, relatively tart, puckering and acidic. And zesty, perhaps also somewhat pithy.

Evening flight. As usual.
Flight 1/4. I'm pretty sure that this is my first ever eucalyptus sour. Semifoggy, pale amber beer. An off-white billowy head.
Eucalyptus in the air, of course. Gives a bit like a spruce-tip impression. Eucalyptus continues on the tongue but gets escorts of fairly powerful sour passionfruit, white guava and orange. And wheat malt. And lactic acid.
Feels light, quite tart, very puckering, acidic and herbal. Eucalyptus works surprisingly well here! Innovative!
